The project I chose to do for my Senior Show at UW - Stout was a book on the history of opioid addiction in the United States, written, designed and illustrated by myself. I learned an incredible amount about the topic and the process of creating a book, and although it was extremely challenging to get it done in time for the show, I'm proud of the work I did. The book takes you from when opium first came to American on the Mayflower in the form of laudanum, all the way to November of 2017, when the President declared opioid addiction a National Health Emergency, but did not go farther.
